Joker Bombs — Bonus Features
Three bomb types, cascade stacking, and a 5,000x cap. Joker Bombs's multiplier bomb system turns simple scatter-pay wins into chain reactions.

Scatter Pays & Cascades
How to Trigger
Eight or more matching symbols land anywhere on the 6×5 grid at the same time.
What Happens
Position is irrelevant — the game counts matching icons across all 30 positions and pays once the count reaches eight. Those symbols are then removed, everything above them drops down, and new symbols fill the gaps from the top. If the refilled grid holds another eight-of-a-kind, it pays again and the cycle repeats. A single spin can therefore resolve several times before it settles, and every bomb collected along the way stays in play for the rest of that chain.
Multipliers
The cascade itself carries no multiplier. Its value is that it keeps one spin alive long enough for bombs to accumulate.
Variants
Hacksaw publishes nine paying symbols for this game — four high-pay and five low-pay — plus the Joker scatter and the three bomb types. Payout values per symbol are shown in the in-game paytable and are not published outside it.
Strategy
Chains are where the money is, not single hits. A lone eight-symbol match pays very little; the same match that chains three or four times with bombs on the board is a different result entirely. Nothing you do influences chain length.
| Grid | 6 reels × 5 rows (30 positions) |
| Win condition | 8+ matching symbols anywhere |
| Paying symbols | 4 high-pay, 5 low-pay |
| Cascade end | No new 8+ match forms |
| Symbol payouts | In-game paytable only |
Multiplier & Revealing Bombs
How to Trigger
Bomb symbols land on the grid during a spin, base game or Free Spins.
What Happens
Two of the three bomb types feed a running multiplier pool. A standard Multiplier Bomb arrives with its value already showing, so you can see the pool building as the chain runs. A Revealing Bomb arrives with its face hidden and only shows what it is worth when it detonates at the end of the chain. Both stay live for the remainder of the cascade sequence they landed in, and the pooled value is applied to the round's win.
Multipliers
Not published. Hacksaw does not list the value ranges for either bomb type in this game outside the in-game help screen.
Variants
The game's own asset set holds four artwork states for the standard bomb plus a separate Revealing Bomb, which is why the two read differently on the grid even before they detonate.
Strategy
A Revealing Bomb on the board is genuinely unknown value until the chain ends — there is no tell. The practical consequence is that you cannot judge a round mid-cascade; wait for the detonation before deciding how it went.
| Bomb types | Standard, Revealing, Epic |
| Standard bomb | Value visible on landing |
| Revealing bomb | Value hidden until detonation |
| Values | Not published |
| Scope | Live for the rest of the chain |
Epic Bomb
How to Trigger
The X-marked Epic Bomb lands on the grid during a cascade sequence.
What Happens
The Epic Bomb behaves differently from the other two. Instead of adding its value to the multiplier pool, it multiplies the pool the other bombs have already built. A modest pool with an Epic Bomb attached outperforms a much larger pool without one, which is why the biggest results in this game come from Epic Bombs landing late in a chain rather than from raw symbol counts.
Multipliers
Not published. The multiplier value the Epic Bomb applies is shown in the in-game help screen only.
Variants
One Epic Bomb type, distinguished on the grid by its X marking.
Strategy
There is nothing to play toward — the Epic Bomb is drawn by the RNG like every other symbol. What it does change is how you read a round: a long chain with no Epic Bomb is a normal result, and a short chain with one can be the best spin of your session.
| Marking | X symbol |
| Effect | Multiplies the bomb pool |
| Adds to pool | No — multiplies it |
| Multiplier value | Not published |
| Best case | Lands late on a built-up pool |
Free Spins
How to Trigger
Joker scatter symbols land on the grid. Hacksaw does not publish how many are required or how often it happens.
What Happens
The Joker scatter is a separate symbol in the game's asset set, distinct from the nine paying symbols and the three bombs, and it opens the Free Spins round. The bomb mechanics carry into the feature. The number of spins awarded, whether retriggers are possible and how bomb behaviour changes inside the round are all described only in the in-game help screen.
Multipliers
Not published.
Variants
Not published.
Strategy
Because the trigger rate is not published, there is no honest way to budget "spins per bonus" for this game. Budget by session length and stop-loss instead, and treat the feature as a bonus rather than the plan.
| Trigger symbol | Joker scatter |
| Scatters required | Not published |
| Spins awarded | Not published |
| Trigger frequency | Not published |
| Bomb mechanics | Carry into the round |
Trigger Probabilities
Hacksaw Gaming doesn't publish feature trigger rates or win-milestone odds for this game, and we're not going to invent them. The in-game help screen is the only source, and it lists rules rather than probabilities.
